A huge flat-bed truck (with the “cherry-picker” on its back)
drove into the parking lot, -- then down into the back yard --- then backed
up the hill --- and then the cherry-picker was driven off the flat-bed
and through the windows [which had been removed] at the back of the Great
Hall!
Up, Up, and Away! The cherry-picker was driven down
the steps (blocks were laid to make the steps less steep) and the job
began. It only took 3 days thanks to the creative method.
Whew! We just made it! There was literally 3 inches
to spare between the cherry-picker and the chancel & seats.
