		Our Minister... FUSS welcomes Rev. Priscilla Richter as the 24th settled minister in the church’s 106-year history. Rev. Richter was formally installed at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 24, 2006. The Search Committee said, “We found her easy to talk with and as intelligent as she is down-to-earth, with a manner that blends wisdom with humor.” “We find her sermons filled with hope and tailored to the needs, concerns, and personalities of the congregations she serves. Priscilla describes herself as a spiritual person who focuses on UU core values.” Keep up with Rev. Rev. Richter has a B.A. in political science and a master’s degree in social work. She received her master of divinity degree from Meadville/Lombard Theological School at the University of Chicago in 1992. Before entering the ministry, she worked in the Model Cities program, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, directed counseling and community services for a women’s center, and helped develop a pilot welfare reform program.

Rev. Richter has served settled ministries in Oak Ridge, TN, and Indiana, PA and two-year interim ministries in Pittsburgh, PA and Plano, TX. She also served as a resident chaplain in a hospital in Huntington, WV. Her grown son lives in Montreal. She has rented a home in Schenectady while searching for a place to buy.
