Jody Kessler: Celebrating the Sacred in Everyday Life
Saturday, September 27, 2008 10 AM - 4 PM
In this day-long, experiential retreat, we will explore what the sacred means to each one of us and how we can deepen our connection with it. Using the power of song, contemplative silence, simple ritual, creative expression and sharing from the heart, Interfaith Minister and singer-songwriter Jody Kessler invites us into sacred space, where we affirm and reconnect with what makes us feel fully alive, connected to Spirit, and in love with life.
In the midst of fast-paced lives that often leave us feeling fragmented and depleted, this retreat is an opportunity to enjoy some deep “R&R” (reconnecting and remembering), and to replenish ourselves by drinking from the wellspring of love, wisdom, and peace that dwells within each of us.
Jody Kessler is a performing songwriter, recording artist, educator, and ordained Interfaith Minister. She has released four CDs, three of which have won awards for her outstanding songwriting and musicianship. She holds a Masters Degree in Education and has taught in schools, spiritual centers, and recreational programs for over 25 years. She weaves together her gifts as a spiritual leader, motivational speaker, teacher, and troubadour into a unique ministry of song and spirit. Find out more at www.jodykessler.com
