Seeking New Circles Editor
An editor is needed for Circles when it converts to a monthly publication in August.
The position involves producing the newsletter on the computer in either a word processing or page layout program. It involves some writing, but primarily assembling and editing the material that other people write and submit via e-mail. If you are interested, call Christy Multer at 399-2050.

DRE Interviews Begin
The Search Committee for a new director of religious education has begun the initial phone interviews with several candidates, and plans to conduct more extensive interviewing by the third week of May, with the intent of establishing a lead candidate by the end of May. (Katie Beltramo)

Annual Meeting after Service May 18
Following the service on Sunday, May 18 we will hold our Annual Meeting. At this meeting we will vote on the new slate of officers and on next year’s budget. Food and child care will be provided.
The agenda, along with annual report, has been mailed to members. Please bring your copy because we are trying to cut down on paper use.

June 8th Service: Remembrances and Celebrations: Service of Our Living Tradition
We will be honoring those who have died in this past year during the Service of Our Living Tradition on Sunday, June 8. This will not be done on Memorial Day weekend.

This includes members of our congregations plus remembering the deaths of loved ones of our members and friends. Along with this, we remember other transitions: births, marriages, notable anniversaries, graduations (high school, university).
In addition to having names mentioned in the service itself, I’d like to publish the names in the order of service. Please call the church office or email me with such a transition in your family.

An additional reminder: we remember those loved ones who have died, not limited to the previous year, in late October/early November during our All Souls Service of Remembrance.

Join UUA Green Program
The Unitarian Universalist Ministry for Earth is the sponsor of the Green Sanctuary program. It is vital for the growth of UUMFE that we continue to build individual and household memberships.

To encourage this, UUMFE is offering a free half- or full-day workshop on “The Work that Reconnects” to the congregation that signs up the largest percentage of new memberships. There is a range of membership levels.

Please stop by our Green Sanctuary table and pick up a membership form for UUMFE. Your support is needed for our UU environmental program.

News from St. Lawrence District: Youth Coordinator
